WEDGE WIRE - PROFILE DIMENSIONS

N.B.: Special profiles of wedge wire with slight variations in the profile depth and width can also be made.

MINI - WEDGE WIRE SCREENS :

Mini Wedge Wire is a further development of larger aperture wedge wire screens for usage in ultra fine filtration such as starch, paper, etc. The usual ranges are 0.05 mm (50 micron) to 0.10 mm (100 micron) with cross rod diameter  5 mm and pitch 35 mm.  However, any aperture can be obtained on most of the profiles and special profiles of wedge wire can be manufactured to suit the customer requirements.

Mini Wedge Wire can be supplied with the following combination of aperture and cross rod.

MINI WEDGE WIRE
APERTURE (mm) CROSS ROD DIA (mm) PITCH (mm)
0.05 (50 Micron) 5 35
0.075 (50 Micron) 5 70/35

The most commonly used profile giving good screening efficiency over the whole range in most applications. It is excellent for the de-watering of slurries and is extensively used in coal washeries.

Designed particularly for fine mesh screens for de-watering of slurries.

Suitable for larger aperture screens used with highly abrasive materials.

Combines most of the de-watering qualities of both flat and conical top profiles and is also widely used as an attractive non-slip finish for drainage grids and walkways.
